Article Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Your Energy Space. It’s wonderful to have you on-board contributing your knowledge and wisdom at these times.

Getting started

Ok, to get you started, I will be creating an ‘Author’ page for you. This page will be the public page of your profile, letting readers know more about you and how they can access your services. You can include as much or as little detail as you would like.

Please email me the following:

  • A biography (as long or short as you would like)
  • Any links to your products, services, webpages or facebook etc you would like
  • A profile picture of you if you would like one (the higher res the better – I can optimise/resize it for the site) 
  • Any other photos you would like to add or support your biographical information

Article Submission

Please email me your completed articles at any time to davidmedwards927 [at] gmail [dot] com.

I will add completed articles to the website blog as soon as possible after receiving them from you. If you would like to have them posted at a specific date and time, or have any other requests, just let me know.

If you have multiple articles ready to go, please email them through at any time with any instructions or requests you may have.

Article length

Aim to have your articles at a minimum of around 750-1000 words. However, there is no hard and fast rule here. If your article is much shorter or longer, then that’s totally fine. Please feel free to express what you need to in how ever many words you feel is appropriate for your article in a blog format.

Photos and graphics

Feel free to add any photos or other graphics to your articles. It would be great if you could supply at least one photo to accompany your article, but it is ok if you don’t have one, I can add one for you (I need at least one for the ‘featured’ photo of the article).

Video

It is totally fine to include a supportive video with the written content of your article if you like.

Please email me the YouTube embed code and URL of the video only. If your video is hosted on another platform, that’s fine, just send me the embed code and URL for it.

Please do not email me raw video content, it must be hosted somewhere first (ie YouTube). Thank you.

Intent

Please keep article content relevant to the intent of this website blog. If you’re not sure, please pop over to the About page and have a quick read.
